Coldplay Tickets & Concert Schedule

Since the October release of their fifth studio album Mylo Xyloto, Coldplay has been hard at work on the road touring extensively in support of the new project. They just recently released a string of 2012 North American tour dates. The U.S. run will begin at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, OR Tuesday, April 24th and close at Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, MN Saturday, August 11th.

Additional cities planning to welcome them in include Seattle, San Jose, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago.

Featuring hit singles “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall” and “Paradise,” Mylo Xyloto charted at number one in seventeen countries and became the group’s third album to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200. View all available 2012 Coldplay tickets below:

Coldplay has recently made their return to the big stage official, revealing nine concert dates scheduled in the UK and mainland Europe this December. The band is also set to release their latest studio project Mylo Xyloto Monday, October 24th. The album is now available for pre-order through www.coldplay.com and iTunes. Those who pre-order on iTunes will instantly receive a download of the new single “Paradise.”

Expect more concert dates to come in light of the new album. Coldplay last toured the U.S. in 2008-2009 in promotion of their fourth studio album Viva la Vida. View the complete UK and European tour schedule below.

This past Friday Coldplay released the single “Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall” in anticipation for their upcoming fifth studio album. Fans have been waiting patiently since the band’s last project Viva La Vida dominated the charts in 2008. Bassist Guy Berryman expects the album to drop in stores sometime this fall.

“We’ve already got lists of song ideas,” he said in a recent interview. “We never stop writing. We go into the studio with all the best laid plans then what we end up with is not what we intended. It’s just exciting to wonder what will come out the speakers in a year’s time. We have very exciting things lined up. Stay tuned Coldplay fans. The band is currently in the studio recording their fifth full-length album, scheduling frequent sessions with producers Brian Eno and Markus Dravs. An estimated time of release and a name for the new project have yet to be determined.

Sources have said that the album could drop in stores anywhere between this October to early next year. Frontman Chris Martin told BBC’s Radio 1 that people can expect a “thinly veiled account of what happens within the group. It’s supposed to be about life, the food stuff and the bad stuff, everything.”

Coldplay is scheduled to headline the 2011 Glastonbury Festival alongside U2 and Beyonce, which is set to take place in Worthy Farm, Pilton, UK June 22-26. They will also be featured headliners at this year’s Oxygen festival in Punchestown, Co Kildare, Ireland. The July 8-10 event will also include The Strokes, Deadmau5, The National, and The Script.
